Our work in Ghana
The Barwah Academy School in Ghana is where our mission began. Founded by Samuel Barwah Idrisu, the school provides a nurturing and supportive environment for children in the Central region of Kasoa. It serves as a living testament to our belief that education is the key to unlocking a child’s potential. Through our programs, we provide a holistic education, including life skills, and create a path for a brighter future.

Our work in Ghana extends beyond the classroom with key projects that support our students and the community:

01
School Construction
With the help of our partners and donors, we completed the construction of our school in 2024, providing a safe and modern learning environment for our students.
02
Bible Studies
We've launched a new Bible studies program in partnership with a local church GCI (Grace Communion International) in Kasoa to support our students' spiritual and personal growth.

Summer Camps
After many successful years of organizing culinary classes and camps in Charlotte, NC, Anna Pupo Cakes (apcakes.com) is excited to bring this experience to Ghana. We are planning to host our first annual soccer, art, and culinary classes in Ghana in the summer of 2026.
